It was a battle between comedy and horror over the weekend and it appears the majority of cinema-goers would rather be frightened, as The Last Exorcism came out on top. It took more than £1m over the three day period beating Dinner for Schmucks into second place.
Incredibly, Toy Story 3 is still raking in the cash, even though it's been out for seven weeks. Last week's number one film Grown Ups took a massive hit, down 56% from last week and dropping it to fourth place.
