X-Men First Class stormed straight to the top of the UK box office last weekend with almost £5.5m taken in its first three days of release. Incredibly good reviews have clearly helped draw in the crowds and don't be surprised to see it hold on to this spot for another week if word of mouth is as positive.
Pirates 4 and Hangover 2 continue to make good money and show no real signs of slowing down just yet, although there are some huge film releases still to come this summer, meaning the competition is hotting up.
